Q: Who can take classes at Canada Online Academy?

Anyone who is working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma can take courses at COA! Before enrolling in a course, make sure that you have the necessary pre-requisite.

 

Q: Do I need to be super computer savvy to take online classes?

If you know how to browse the internet, you will be able to glide through your online course easily! Remember, we are always here to lend a helping hand if you feel stuck!

 

Q: Is the system available in my language?

All course contents are in English Only.

 

Q: Do I have to finish a course within certain period of time?

Yes, from the date of enrollment, you’ll have up to 4 months to finish a course at COA.

 

Q: How do I get the textbook for the course I enroll in?

Once you are enrolled in an online course at COA, there is no need to buy extra textbooks or materials as they will be accessible in the virtual classroom automatically.

 

Q: Can I take multiples courses at the same time? What is the maximum number of the courses I can take at the same time?

Yes, you are allowed to take as many courses as you like at the same time.  Just keep in mind that all full-credit courses require 110 hours of learning and that in order to successfully finish a course in 4 months’ time, we recommend setting aside at least 8-10 hours per weeks on materials for every single full-credit course.

 

Q: Can I take COA classes while I’m attending school in my home country?

For sure! That’s exactly the convenience we want to provide to all our international students. Just make sure you plan your time well so that you have enough time to work on both courses at your home country and at COA.

 

Q: Will there be a teacher teaching my class?

Yes, all of our teachers at COA are Ontario Certified with lots of in-class teaching experiences and are specially training to teach in an online learning environment.

 

Q: Will these courses count towards my diploma or university application?

Yes, all credits earned at COA that are required for graduation count toward your OSSD!

 

Q: What are your additional costs?

All possible fees are listed on our website www. coastudy.com. Basically, besides the initial application fee, tuition fee for each course, final examination fee, possible entrance examination fee and repost card mailing fee, there is no hidden or additional fees throughout COA.

 

Q: How to take final exam? Do I have to sit an exam?

You’ll need to go in person to one of our test centers to take the final exams.
