Canada Online Academy provides all the courses inspected by Ontario Ministry of Education (BSID: 666015). These courses will equip students with essential knowledge and skills to survive in future challenges. In accordance with personal need, students can prepare themselves for further education in either university or college, or for starting careers right after high school.In School year 2016, we offer University Commerce Program Pre-requisite courses such as English, Accounting, Economics, Finance, International Business, Calculus and Vectors, Advanced Functions. We also provide University Science & Engineering Program Pre-requisite courses including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. We have Art Program Pre-requisite courses such as Arts, History and Design as well. In addition to this, we operates OSSLC course in accordance with Ontario Literacy Test and ESL courses to international students at the same time.

Any student who have not received Chinese High School education or credit exemption from Ontario Province has to complete 30 credit points in Ontario High School (18 required, 12 optional courses) before graduation. Credit points can students commonly gain in each Grade are listed below:

9^th Grade – 8 points (8 Courses)

10^th Grade – 8 points (8 Courses)

11^th Grade – 8 points (8 Courses)

12^th Grade – 6 points (6 Courses)

Total: 30 Credit Points (30 Courses)

If student has completed Chinese High School Courses equivalent to courses in Grade 11 in Canada, he or she will get around 18-20 Credit points exemption.

Students need to follow Study Plan suggested by teacher. Each Course has study duration of at most 6 months online. Each course requires 110-120 learning periods online. Students can of couse complete course in advance in accordance their personal capability, however the shortest duration for each course is 2 months.

ESL Courses
